MEDALLION PRESENTS
TARANG

Three shores. One sun.

THE IDEA
Time, the way the land tells it.

Long before clocks, India kept time by nature. The monsoon arrived over the Ghats. The tide rose and fell on the coast. Light moved across the sand at dusk.

Tarang is a tribute to that older kind of time. Three dials. Three landscapes. One case, and one golden hand that sweeps across them all, like the sun that rises over every shore alike.

THE DIAL
Every surface, a moving thing.

Look closely and the dial begins to move. A fine, grained texture ripples across it in soft waves, catching the light differently every hour of the day.

Wind over forest canopy. Ripples over dunes. Swells across open water. One texture, read three ways.

Tarang: Wave, in Sanskrit.

I. THE WESTERN GHATS
Sahyadri
I. Sahyadri
The green that breathes.

Older than the Himalayas, the Western Ghats rise from the coast like a sleeping giant wrapped in cloud. When the monsoon comes, the mountains turn a green so deep it feels alive.

The Sahyadri dial holds that green: layered, misty, endless. Its grain moves like wind through a forest canopy. And when the Surya hand passes, it is the first light breaking through the monsoon mist.

For those who find stillness in wild places.

II · THE WHITE SANDS
Sikata
II. Sikata
The quiet of white sand.

Where the land finally meets the sea, it softens into sand: pale, warm, shaped by the wind every day and never the same twice.

The Sikata dial is that softness made permanent. Its fine grain carries the ripple marks the tide leaves behind. Under the Surya hand, it glows like sand at midday, bright enough to make you close your eyes.

For those who see beauty in simplicity.

III · THE INDIAN OCEAN
Ratnakar
III. Ratnakar

The keeper of jewels.

The ancients called it Ratnakar, the ocean that holds treasure. For thousands of years it carried spice, stories and sailors between worlds.

The Ratnakar dial holds its depth. Blue on blue, with a wave texture that swells and settles the way water does. When the Surya hand crosses it, it is sunlight scattering gold across the open sea.

For those drawn to the horizon.

THE SURYA HAND
One sun. Three shores.

The same sun rises over the mountains, the sand and the sea. So across all three Tarang dials, one thing never changes: the golden Surya hand.

Each second is a small sunrise.
